Orchard View Congregational Church is a family of people who are committed to faith, hope and love.  Our faith is in Jesus Christ alone to save us from our sins and to bring us into a wonderful and powerful relationship with God.  Our hope is in the fact that God will one day save all who love his Son, Jesus, and that he will come to live with us and be our God forever.  This hope includes the renewal of all things, the new heavens and the new earth!  Our love is first of all for Christ himself, and also for Christ's family, the church.  Finally, we are committed to also loving all the people in our local community as well as those throughout the world who so desperately need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

We belong to the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference of churches.  We believe that the Bible is our final authority for life, faith, and practice and that it is true, without error.  We seek to live and die by this book, as we believe it is God's written word for the Church today.  In this way, we are absolutely committed to being a people "of the book".  We seek to preach no other message than what is found in the pages of the Bible, and we believe that in this culture which promotes that it doesn't much matter what you believe, there is a message that is true for all people, for all time, that needs to be kept pure and shared with as many people as possible.  It is a message of truth and a message of love.  Jesus Christ is at the center of its message and to Him alone do we pledge our allegiance.  

We desire to love God and love people in a way that brings glory to our Savior and Lord.  We are not an exclusive club, but rather we love to have new people join us who want to discover what it means to love God and to love people.  God has called us to a mission to "make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I (Jesus) have commanded you..."
